Red Thread

An invisible red thread connects those who are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstances. The thread may stretch or tangle but will never break.

The Chinese adoption community has adopted this proverb as a sort of motto. We believe that our child, even though she was born in China, was destined to be a part of our family.

This original painting is for friends who have a panda & cat themed room waiting for their baby (or babies). The chinese symbols on the red thread are Mother, Daughter, Father, and Family. This one is taken but I can make a similar one for you for $15.

This one would be super cute for a nursery. It is very colorful and available to you for the low low price of $16.95. It is 11"x14". Again I can redo this one in different colors for you and add something other than ladybugs. This one is a bit time consuming to blend the bright colors...that's why it costs a little more for the smaller size.

Jo & Zack Asian Originals

These I did for our friends Jo and Zack. The Chinese symbols are the phonetic characters for their names. These are 11"x14". Jo and I were thinking to link them with two ribbons from behind for hanging. Should be really cute.

Ric Rac Daisy

This is for my secret pal's nursery and was inspired by Pottery Barn's Ric Rac Daisy Nursery Bedding (see above). It is 15x18". I can create a custom design inspired by your nursery theme/bedding in what ever size you like. I think three 11x14" above the crib would be cute. The price depends on quantity, size, and detail (time) in the painting.
